July 16, 2015

Gina, Thank you for being such an amazing teacher! In the last 3 months I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped me advance as a teacher. It’s been truly amazing … and there’s still so much to learn!

July 16, 2015

It’s an anatomical extravaganza and stand up comedy rolled into one!
Gina’s knowledge of anatomy is inspirational! I promise!”

July 16, 2015

Gina’s knowledge and enthusiasm has inspired me to learn more. Who knew a weekend of anatomy could be so uplifting?

July 16, 2015

Gina did an absolutely fabulous job of keeping the information enticing and accessible. She’s awakened my fascination for movement and leaning more about how this magnificent physical vehicle of ours works. Thank you!!

July 16, 2015

Gina has a way of simply explaining difficult concepts while maintaining an engaging rapport. Dave

July 16, 2015

Gina’s presence was wonderful and her knowledge and level of expertise was truly unbelievable. It is clear that she is passionate and credible in this field.

Gina is a gifted teacher and really knows her stuff! Great storytelling weaved into learning was stellar. She reads the class to see when we didn’t understand, added humor and honesty to her teaching. Made it accessible.

July 16, 2015

Gina – you are an energizing spirit. Your passion for your field and compassion for the human mind, body and soul is inspiring. Many thanks!!

July 16, 2015

Not only did I learn a plethora of information, but I opened up physically, mentally and emotionally places I have kept closed too long. Thank you, Gina! Your style, your knowledge, your energy & your being ARE WONDERFUL and inspirational!

July 16, 2015

Gina Schatz, who else can teach anatomy in a way that someone drives from Nashville to Cleveland to "get it" again?! Thank you!!

July 16, 2015

I just wanted to let you know how memorable and informative this past weekend was for me...you not only have a wealth of information to offer you know how to convey it as well.

July 16, 2015

I fully confess I was dreading the anatomy portion of teacher training, assuming it would be dry and reminiscent of the rote memorization of grade school. To say I was wrong is a gross understatement.   Gina is dynamic and inspirational in her teaching style: she literally energized an entire room of students with her enthusiasm and her hands-on teaching style enabled us to retain that knowledge and USE it when assisting our students.

July 16, 2015

All I can say about the weekend is “are you kidding me”? Gina Schatz is off the charts. The energy was ridiculous.

July 16, 2015

The awareness of my own body and how it all works together is invaluable. I’m walking away so energized and excited to share this knowledge. Gina was an amazing teacher - so engaging. She has enabled me to become a stronger teacher and better serve my students.

July 16, 2015

The material was exciting to me! The information provided was detailed, clear and made me feel like I understand my body in a whole new way. This new knowledge will allow me to appreciate the body so I can be a more sensitive and compassionate practitioner.

July 16, 2015

I like that items were included for visual, oral and kinesthetic learning styles. I learned a lot more about anatomy than expected and I believe it will be helpful to me and my clients.

July 16, 2015

Even though I have had anatomy before, it made more sense to me in this format. Now I have a better understanding of it.

July 16, 2015

Not let down! I have a background in science but have never had an anatomy course. I was excited about the anatomy portion and was not let down. I thought Gina’s choices of what to cover, with the vast amount of information, were well thought out and appropriate for yoga teacher training. The hands-on exercises and details included were especially important for us to know.

July 16, 2015

I loved that what seemed like an overwhelming amount of material was presented in an articulate, accessible and engaging format. Loved it!

July 16, 2015

The most applicable piece of information was the importance of proper alignment and that if certain poses are being practiced with improper alignment, injury can occur.

July 16, 2015

I truly want to thank you. This was the first (out of three) that I have taken anatomy & physiology and I got it and it was actually fun. I want to truly thank you.

July 16, 2015

I wish you were around when I was studying all this in school! A light bulb suddenly went off. Thank you, it was awesome!

July 16, 2015

Awesome! Gina brought anatomy & physiology to a level that I was able to understand, conceptualize and use in everyday life. I couldn’t stop telling my family how important and amazing this time has been. Thank you, thank you!

The Schatz Method Courses

July 16, 2015

My back feels better than it has all year. I threw it out 3 times this year. All in the lower back. I do handstands every day and this past week I've been very tentative going into inversions because they pain is recurring. But after class today and all day the pain is completely gone. I think realigning my down dog and my hips in warrior 1 and 2 brought me back. Thank you so much!!

July 16, 2015

Just had to tell you I used your ankle tracking technique on a patient in therapy who has had pain for two weeks and she walked out of here saying her pain has decreased by 70%!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!

July 16, 2015

I found it very useful to learn effective therapeutic solutions to foundational issues. I now have more awareness, information and tools to assist clients in pain or discomfort.

July 16, 2015

I was excited to learn how Gina measures her clients and to be able to learn this technique. I learned this long ago in massage school and Pilates training, but had forgotten and stopped using it. This gives me new eyes and new techniques to use with my clients. Also, the business portion gave me an opportunity to think about how I market myself to potential clients and what I can do differently to grow my business.

July 16, 2015

I learned that all problems stem from the sacrum and to build from the ground up when trying to help my clients with injuries.

July 16, 2015

Not only was the workshop informative for preventing injuries, we learned valuable therapeutics. I feel more knowledgeable for my students and excited to learn more!

July 16, 2015

The therapeutics opened my sub-occipitals and my vision is clearer after class!

July 16, 2015

Such valuable information to share with my students to keep them aligned, safe and open. Priceless!

The Schatz Method Professional Training Program

July 16, 2015

I was skilled and knowledgeable before the program but I felt like a dime a dozen Pilates instructor. Now I have a specialty and a deeper understanding about the nature of muscles & function. I can recognize weakness, structural issues, and bring more to any session than just stretch a tight muscle. Now it’s so obvious. In a traditional Pilates or yoga sequence, we would just work through - or stop if a client couldn’t work without discomfort. Now, I find a different way to address muscles and know more about what’s happening to provide results instead of modifications or eliminating part of a sequence.

I have a vocabulary now due to this program. I feel very confident now that what I’m doing is the right thing, and I have the words to explain so clearly what’s happening. I wasn’t able to do that before. I would have even referred them back to their doctor.

Now I have conversations with colleagues (physical therapists and physicians!) about what I do and what they do. I feel like an equal player in helping our shared client on the same goals. I feel more professional as a practitioner, like I have more to say than “I just do Pilates”. I’ve worked on torn labrums with success since learning the information in this program. I have the words to explain why an exercise needs to be done and get them to really do their homework. I’m definitely more confident in everything - even the business side of things. My pitch is so clear now!

There are so many teachers out there that do not know enough about functional anatomy. I think they all need this material! And I can’t believe I’m not even done with this program, there is more coming!

July 16, 2015

Gina, Thank you for being such an amazing teacher! In the last 3 months I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped me advance as a teacher. It’s been truly amazing … and there’s still so much to learn!

July 16, 2015

Thanks for the support, direction and therapy Gina. Those of us who know you know that you REALLY know your stuff. And now from a client perspective, I can totally appreciate your knowledge and experience even more.
